**Nordita** is situated in the AlbaNova University Center campus, as are **the two theory groups (CoPS and KoF) in the physics department of Stockholm university (SU)**, and **the theoretical physics department of the Royal institute of technology (KTH)**. Since these four units share the same interests, we have decided to co-organize seminars, conferences and other scientific events in theoretical physics.

Here is a list of the regularly scheduled seminars in theoretical physics that are organized by one or more of the theory groups at AlbaNova. See the **Seminar schedule** for a list of seminars held within a month from now.

This is is a "theory colloquium" (i.e. condensed matter, quantum information, string theory, anything theory), i.e. supposed to not be overly technical.

Usual time: weekly on **Wednesdays at 11.00-12.15**, usual place: the **FA31** or **FA32** seminar rooms (AlbaNova main building, 3rd floor).

**Schedule**for this seminar

- Organizers:

Seminar of the OKC Cosmology and Gravity **Working Group**.

- Usual time: biweekly on
**Wednesdays at 13.15-14.15**, usual place: the A5:1041 seminar room (AlbaNova main building, 5th floor).

**Schedule**for this seminar

- Organizers:
*Jon Gudmundsson*(OKC/Fysikum, SU)*Martina Gerbino*(OKC/Fysikum, SU)*Edvard Mörtsell*(OKC/Fysikum, SU)

They are being held on **Wednesdays, 13:30-14:30 in 122:026**.
As a rule, all papers submitted by group members to the arXiv are to be presented here.
Sometimes there are two talks of 30 minutes instead.
This seminar slot is also used for guests and visitors of the group.
Several times a year, this slot is also used for joint seminars with the
**Solar Physics Institute** and the group of Göran Scharmer.

- Organizers:
*Axel Brandenburg*(Nordita)*Illa R. Losada*(Nordita)

Even though the physics departments of KTH and Stockholm University (SU) are located at AlbaNova, the mathematics departments are not (but within walking distance from AlbaNova). The two departments co-organize a mathematics colloquium, under the auspices of the recently formed Stockholm Mathematics Center, SMC.

Usual time: Weekly on **Wednesdays at 14:30-15:30**, usual place: the **Oskar Klein Auditorium**, FR5 (AlbaNova main building, 4th floor).

**Schedule**for this seminar

is being held **Thursdays at 12:00 in 122:026**.
We normally get our lunch from the AlbaNova canteen and then walk back to the Nordita seminar room, or sit by the round tables outside the restaurant. (When there is a long queue, we may be late...)

- Organizers:
*Illa R. Losada*(Nordita)

Seminar of the OKC Extreme Objects **Working Group**.
