I am Jani-Petri Martikainen and I work as an
assistant
professor in NORDITA. My main research interests are related to
degenerate quantum gases.
Currently I spend most of my time studying interacting
superfluid Fermi gases, but I also have wide interests in the field of
Bose-Einstein
condensation.I am especially interested in quantum
phenomena in optical lattices and in the possibilities of
exotic/useful quantum states appearing there. At Nordita there are
others who share my interests and you are welcome to browse a
brief description of our activities.
