Personal
I
am very interested in science also out of office although my
interests then extend beoynd physics. For example, I find evolutionary
theory, some aspects of human behavioral science,
and even economic theory very interesting. I suspect that the
underlying theme in that rather diverse list is presence of many
compteting and/or collaborating agents whose behavior feeds back into
the system and even affects the "rules of the game". Also, I like to be
well informed about world affairs and surf the web quite extensively to
satisfy my appetite for news. I am also very interested in
history, especially classical and medieval periods. Clearly, I read a
lot. There was a period in my youth when I read lots
of classics, but I quickly grew under it. Nowadays I mostly read
factual books, fantacy, or science fiction. I like to excercise a bit
as well. I am not a fanatical athelete, but I do go to the gym
couple of times a week and do some body-pump, cycling or jogging
every now and then. Occasionally I might post some of my incoherent
ramblings into my
blog.
Other things I like:
- my family
- cooking/good food, good wine, good whiskey etc.
- good movies (such as "The city of lost children", "Amelie", "Matrix 1", "Memento", "Lord of the rings" etc etc.)
- dogs, cats etc....I guess mammals with cute eyes in general
- nice people
- people thinking outside the box/stereotypes
- occasionally addictive computer game is a fine way to empty a brain.
