This is information concerns the input files used for the paper titled "Dynamo in weakly collisional non-magnetized plasmas impeded by Landau damping of magnetic fields" by I. Pusztai et al. The simulations were performed with Gkyll built with cd65328c077f+ 2228+ default ** GP_flow.lua The input for the kinetic Galloway-Proctor flow simulation of Fig. 1. ** MagneticDiffusion_L0_nu005.lua This is an example input from the wavelength and collisioonality scan shown in Figs. 2 and 3. - This example is for the baseline wavelength (L0~9.73 micron, corresponding to BoxMultiplier=8.0) and a collision scaling factor, C_nu=0.05 - Other values of the wavelength and C_nu are set by the parameters in the input file called BoxMultiplier and Cnu, respectively. - Values used in the scan are BoxMultiplier={1.0, 2.0, 4.0, 8.0}, and Cnu={0.05, 0.1, 0.2, 0.5, 1.0} ** Magnetization_B1.lua This is an example for the magnetization scan shown in Fig. 4. - This example corresponds to B=1 T initial magnetic perturbation amplitude (BNoiseAmpl=1.0). - The points of the scan used BNoiseAmpl={5.0, 10.0, 15.0, 20.0, 30.0, 45.0, 50.0, 75.0, 100.0} ** Roberts_flow_C_nu0.lua and Roberts_flow_C_nu03.lua These are inputs for the Roberts flow simulations shown in Fig. 5, corresponding to collision frequency scaling factors C_nu=0 and and 0.3. - Note that in the input for C_nu=0, the corresponding input parameter (Cnu) is set to 1.0, but the sections oc the input responsible for collisions are commented out, thus the simulation is run without collisions.
