Scope

Molecular electronics and spintronics have been in the focus of fundamental research in the last decade and harbor great potential for future magnetic devices allowing to store magnetic information in fundamental units. Of particular importance for the design of devices is the study of organic/inorganic hybrid systems such as adsorbates/molecules on 2- and 3-dimensional substrates. This workshop focuses on the interplay between adsorbates/molecules and Dirac materials. The aim is to provide an opportunity to present and discuss fundamental and applied research in the emerging field of Dirac materials and in particular on hybrid organic-topological interfaces. The hope is to create a platform for ideas and collaborations for novel materials for future applications.

Keywords: Theoretical and experimental characterization of topological states; manipulation of topological states; 2D Dirac systems; 3D topological insulators; organic/inorganic interfaces
