Scope

The Quantum Connections 2021 is part Quantum Connections series of scientific events , a small post-pandemic workshop that we organize to celebrate Frank Wilczek's many interests in physics.

Quantum Connections events are organized jointly by the Department of Physics and Nordita (hosted by Stockholm University , KTH-Royal Institute of Technology and Uppsala University), together TD Lee Institute and Wilczek Quantum Center at Shanghai Jiao Tong University.

Curriculum: Talks and discussions on Quantum Connections, Time Crystals, Axions, Emergent gauge theory, Anyons, Quantum Gravity, QCD, ..., from theory to computations and experimental results.

Participation via

We will use Zoom as our platform for all online communications with those participants who will join the workshop remotely. Please use the instructions that you have received by e-mail in order to connect via Zoom.
The meeting link (sent by e-mail) will be the same for the entire workshop and you can join at any time during the talks and discussions. But for your own talk please join at least 30 minutes before the scheduled start time in order to prepare and check the connection and all technical requirements.

Accommodation

For the "on-site" participants who will join the workshop in Stockholm, we have provided accommodation at the workshop's venue and sent the information to those participants individually.

COVID-19 Restrictions:

At the moment Sweden does not have any demand for self-quarantining after the arrival at the country. But all individuals are required to provide a negative COVID test result (Test type: Antigen, PCR, LAMP or TMA) upon their arrival, not older than 48 hrs even if they have been fully vaccinated.
People who are arriving from a non-EEA* country must be exempted from the general entry ban to Sweden.

We also keep you updated about any changes in the restrictions and if they will affect the event.

For your departure and depending on your destination, you might need to take a COVID test. We will provide you more information about the test locations at Arlanda airport (or outside of the airport) that you can use.

You can always find the latest information, recommendations and updates regarding the COVID-19 from the following sources:
