By plane

The major Paris airports, Charles-de-Gaulle and Orly, are connected to the city by RER (suburban train) line B. The journey to central Paris takes about one hour. The closest RER station to ENS is "Luxembourg", line B.

By train

Most of the intercity trains stop at Gare du Nord, Gare de Lyon or Gare de l'Est. It takes twenty to forty minutes from there to "Luxembourg" by RER/metro.

Tickets

A transit ticket (t+) is valid for one metro/RER or bus ride within Paris. A special ticket is required for getting to and from the airports. The tickets can be purchased at the automatic dispensers or sales windows in all RER/metro stations.
